

Amid the tumult of Beirut, Alia meets Abu Samra, a man training to gain superpowers. She decides to train with him. Their shared monsters help them make sense of the insanity of Lebanon.
The film is now screening at a multitude of frestivals, premiering at Festival du court métrage de Clermont-Ferrand.
"Ship of Fools" is a documentary by Alia Haji and Lea Najar, in which I worked in multiple departments, specifically character design, visual development, color and background design/paint.
